Welding Description
Students completing the welding pathway will be well prepared for entry-level employment in the field(s) of welding and fabrication. Students will acquire entry level skills in shielded metal arc, gas metal arc, oxyfuel welding, oxyfuel cutting skills.

Certifications
After completing this program, students will receive the opportunity to get an AWS Welding certificate.
Ornamental Horticulture
Students in the Auto Pathway will receive the opportunity to attain 8 ASE student certifications by the end of the course.
Auto Service Tech:
Diagnose, repair and perform preventative maintenance on cars and light trucks. Virtually every system on today’s vehicles is electronically controlled by computers, and auto techs use sophisticated diagnostic tools to improve engine performance and repair transmissions, steering and suspension, brake, electrical and heating and air conditioning systems. There is a high demand for well-trained technicians.
Salary: $39,550 median salary1
Education: High school diploma required. Auto-specific certificate or degree recommended.

Architecture & Construction


This course covers a variety of subjects in the area of agricultural mechanics. Theory and hands-on skills are taught in the areas of woodworking, concrete, metalworking, electricity, plumbing and welding. Students will also practice employability skills including resume building, job applications and interview skills as well as building a portfolio.
Careers
Students in architecture and construction learn and practice skills that prepare them for diverse post-high school education and training opportunities, from apprenticeships and two-year college programs to four-year college and graduate programs.
